Department of EEE had organized a study tour
Department of EEE had organized a study tour to a 230 kV substation. All the students from our regular batches joined in this tour to get firsthand practical knowledge of our country's power systems. Substation engineers also shared their valuable experiences with our students, inspiring them to pursue a career in this field. Students greatly appreciated this opportunity and were asking for this kind of visit to be a regular occurrence. Quoting a student, "I am excited to be here. All those years, I had only heard about power generation and distribution systems. I am seeing with my own eyes today. I am grateful to our accompanying faculty members, the department, and the university authority for giving me such an opportunity. This kind of visit should be arranged regularly". We had also shared our enthusiasm for the next visit and they were happy to oblige. Lastly, we had shown our appreciation to substation engineers by handing out the crest and our university scarf. This visit will help our students to succeed in the 'Electrical machines & Power systems' skill course. Students are really grateful to university authority for providing a helping hand to our students to enrich their academic and practical knowledge.
