Vision

Recent years have seen a large number of universities have been established in Bangladesh. Nevertheless, the increase in the universities’ number, students, and faculty   do not appear to have been reflected in a similar increase in the quality of education. The vision of University of Global Village (UGV) is to flourish as a prestigious  seat of learning in the world. As a center of excellence, it aims at attracting scholars from all around the world and to create a dynamic environment for learning,  research and innovation.

Mission

The mission of University of Global Village (UGV) is to foster the national development process through the creation of a centre of excellence in higher education that   is responsive to society’s needs, and able to develop creative leaders. It actively contributes to learning and the creation of knowledge. UGV is committed to provide   higher education to students of Bangladesh at an affordable cost.

Goal

The goal of the University is to provide an excellent broad-based education with a focus on professional development for students to prepare them with the knowledge and skills necessary for leading the country. Along with this, UGV provides an environment for faculty development to ensure a dynamic teaching environment. Faculty will be provided with an environment in which they can further their teaching-learning abilities and contribute to the creation of new knowledge by developing and using their research skills.
